Class Format

8-week programme with themed activities, visuals and mini-challenges.
Last session will be “Speak and get feedback” celebration and mock presentation for showcase day.

Showcase Day (7th March 2026): short ‘show-and-tell’ or story with prop for family audience.

In class, you’ll see:

Transformation Indicators

Child should be able to learn and use 10 new words in context by week 4 and 20 words used correctly in a 60-90 sec talk by week 8.
Pace:
Week 4: 100 -120 WPM in a short talk
Week 8: 110 – 130 WPM, with 2-4 clear pauses per minute
Structure & confidence:
By week 4 can name and use open-middle-close structure and have self-rating 3/5
By week 8, uses a 3-point structure with a clear ending with self-rating 4/5

What They'll Learn

Confidence: speaking in front of peers with supportive routines.
Conversation basics: greetings, questions, follow-ups and active listening (and responding skills).
Storytelling: simple beginnings, middles and endings; describing people and places.
Pronunciation: clear sounds, pace and friendly intonation.
Social language feelings: use phrases like “I think... because…”; polite conversation.
